Star is known to be chaotic, volatile and unpredictable, she is intelligent and inventive but suffers from issues when controlling her emotions. This fault leads to destructive actions. Despite her erratic behaviour, Star can be sensitive and capable of deep emotional attachments. She demonstrates fierce loyalty to those she cares about unless they betray her. she struggles with understanding right from wrong, her mind warped from hydra's brain washing. If she ever becomes more stable, it is recommended to have her programming erased or at least attempt to do so.
after years of obedience to hydra, in an act that is unlike star according to both her records and her evaluation, star betrayed the organisation by helping to free the winter soldier. of course, this did not matter as we now know that he was apprehended by the organisation once more before they went into hiding. however, this action allowed S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to apprehend star. after a long evaluation, it was decided that star would be sent to a facility until she could be reanalysed.star did not fight the choice, allowing agents to lead her down to her cell within REDACTED. since then, she has acted out in such extreme ways that she has had to be restrained. star has lost all privileges and remained under lock and key until those in charge see fit. she is not to be trusted, she is to be under constant surveillance. all sharp objects must be kept out of her reach. her collar must remain on at all times. meals will be delivered through a hatch. * fff ── backstory.

If there was one thing to know about Hydra, it was that they always tried to be one step ahead. Or at the very least, they tried to be the best at whatever they did. So, when the Winter Soldier project only produced one successor — they didn't stop trying to create more weapons. One scientist in particular found himself obsessed with the idea of raising the perfect weapon rather than just creating one. The heads of Hydra figured this wasn't such a bad idea. After all, it would open a whole new way of experimenting. They could finally test the serum on children, which was something they had yet to try. Hydra gave the scientist known as Doctor Davis permission to start his experiments immediately while making sure he knew that if he failed, he would be executed. Hydra didn't tolerate failures. So, Davis started working immediately. He built an underground bunker that would fit everything the subject would need without having to leave. His first attempt was on a seven year old boy. He didn't survive the first dosage of the serum. The second was a five year old girl, she didn't even make it to the bunker. One of the guards had no patience. The third was a three year old boy, he also couldn't handle the serum. Davis was starting to grow nervous. He couldn't let the higher ups at Hydra find out about his failures, so he put the experiment on hold until he could find the perfect subject. One that not only would survive but one that would thrive. His prayers were answered on December 27th, 1976. News of a car pileup in Atlanta, Georgia spread all across the world. There had been five cars involved. The first one, a pickup truck with a husband and wife inside, had tried to stop in the road when a man came running onto the street. They swerved, spinning into traffic. The car that hit them had a family of three inside. The pickup truck slammed into the front of the family's car, sending them skidding backward into another car. Then, out of nowhere, a third truck slammed into the driver's side of the car. Another car slammed into the back of the car behind, followed by another that ended up flipping and landing on top of the car behind the family of three. It was horrible. Ten people, dead.
But that wasn't what captured Davis’s attention. It wasn't the people that had died. It was the one that had survived. A four year old girl named Athena. She'd been in the second car, with her parents. And she should have died. That's what they were saying. That this little girl had been sitting on the seat behind the driver's seat. When the third truck slammed into the drivers side, her father, who had been driving, was killed instantly. She should have been killed too. It didn't make sense for her to be alive. Not just alive, but unharmed. She was a medical mystery. And Davis wanted her. So, he sent a few trusted members to Atlanta and had the child stolen from her hospital room. She was transported to the bunker where she met Doctor Davis. He told her that this was going to be her new home and that no one would ever hurt her again. That she'd be safe and that she'd learn everything she needed to know in order to thrive in the world. Athena was excited, she loved learning. And when Davis told her that he was a Doctor, Athena knew that she could trust him. Doctors were always so nice. Even when Davis strapped her down to a chair and injected a strange blue liquid into her, she trusted him. He'd said it would help. And for the first time since starting his experiments, someone survived the first dosage. At first, he'd been worried. When Athena came down with the flu, a fever that made it impossible to touch her due to how hot she was and then shivers as if she'd been encased in ice, he thought he was going to lose her. But four days later Athena was on her feet like the flu had never even happened. Davis was overjoyed with the idea that his experiment could work. He started the next step immediately. Athena was put on a strict schedule. Every day was the same. The mornings were spent learning her basic skills. English, Mathematics, History, Sciences. She flew through all of them. At age five, she was doing the work of an eight year old. Her afternoons were spent training. Learning everything there was to know about guns and knives. She was taught hand to hand combat and also a small amount of hacking. Davis didn't want her to rebel in the future, so he added in some activities she may find enjoyable. Dancing, Swimming.
Her evenings, after dinner and after her last hand to hand class, were spent in the lab with Davis. As the years passed and Athena continued to excel in everything they taught her, Davis found himself feeling some sort of connection to the child. After all, she was the closest thing he'd ever had to a daughter. Even if she didn't speak. The way she looked at him with such adoration, he needed that. He enjoyed it. Knowing that she trusted him, perhaps even loved him. It meant that when the time came, if Hydra were to try and betray him, he could use Athena to stop it. At the age of ten, Athena had mastered all they had to teach when it came to guns. She'd also mastered her knife skills. She was good at fighting, it helped that she was small. Davis had begun teaching her everything he knew about medicine the year before. They'd spend their evenings in the lab together, her attention solely on David as he taught her all about the human body and various surgical procedures and techniques. It was one of those nights that Athena showed signs of other abilities — other than her genius, of course. The guard that trained her in hand to hand had interrupted their time and began arguing with Davis over Athena’s training schedule. Neither of them had noticed Athena move until she stood in front of the guard, staring up at him. Her hand wrapped around his finger without hesitation, gripping onto the appendage tight enough that he couldn’t break free. A few beats passed before he began screaming, asking what she was doing. Athena simply tilted her head and yanked her hand back, his finger coming along with her hand. It snapped off clean, the now broken appendage falling to the floor with a thump. The revelation that Athena may possess more abilities than just the effects of their serum was both the worst and the best news for Davis. It was good, because it meant she would be a fabulous weapon for Hydra. But it was bad because after Athena had finished, she turned to Davis and offered him a grin. She made her way back towards him, climbed back into her spot and gave him a look that made his stomach turn. She wanted his approval. She'd done it for him. They couldn't lose Athena, not now. Especially not when Davis knew just how attached she was to him.As more years passed, Athena continued to excel at any task they threw her way. By the age of fifteen, there was very little they still had to teach her. Some of the higher ups in Hydra had come to visit and check in on her progress. They brought an agent with them for Athena to fight, to see just how skilled she was. At first, she seemed to hold her own in the fight. However, eventually Athena ended up on her back with the agent holding her down by the throat. Athena, instead of trying to get him off, wrapped her hand around his wrist. The agent suddenly began screaming, smoke coming from where she held him. He released her and tried to move away but Athena simply followed, keeping her grip on his wrist as she looked down at him with a grin on her lips. It wasn't until Davis told her to stop that she finally released the other agent — her handprint burned into the man's wrist. Upon further inspection, it was found that the burning had started from the inside and rose to the surface. The wrist was useless now. Hydra was ecstatic. However, they worried about her social skills. When Athena was sixteen, they allowed her out of the bunker and into real life. She was to use the time to study people and learn how to blend into a crowd. They wanted her to learn how to appear normal even if she was anything but. It was another thing that Athena seemed to excel at. She observed the way people acted, what seemed appropriate and what wasn't. It only took her six months to figure out how to read people and show them what they needed to see while hiding the rest. There was nothing else for them to teach her. Athena was already the perfect weapon. For the next year and a half, it was simply about keeping her skills fresh in her mind. Davis continued to monitor her blood with his weekly tests while also teaching her more about medicine and surgery. He was worried about letting her go. For the last fourteen years, she had been his entire life. Still, he had the orders he had to obey. And when Athena turned eighteen, Davis still strapped her into the chair and gave her the second dosage of the serum. This time, the flu was so bad that Athena simply slept for three days. When she woke up, she was confused. Everything was different. Athena could see better, hear better, everything was enhanced. When she grabbed onto the intravenous pole to pull herself up from the bed, she accidentally bent it in half. Athena was scared. No one had ever told her what the serum would do. So, as she always did when she was scared, Athena went looking for Davis. She needed answers and who better to ask than the man who raised her. She checked his lab first, empty. Then, to his office. That was empty too. But it was also unlocked. Athena had never been allowed in his office before. She pushed the door open, calling out his name only to find that every surface was covered in papers and pictures. Pictures of her. Athena made her way further inside, inspecting everything a little closer. It was her. Everything was about her. There were details on her entire life. Every experiment, every ability, every second of her life kept inside a tiny room. Athena understood everything then. It was obvious. She was not normal. She was an experiment. And Davis was a liar.Just as the first tear slipped down her cheek, Davis appeared in the doorway. He immediately scolded her about entering his office, began babbling about how she had to follow the rules. Athena turned to face him slowly, twirling a pen in between her fingers. Before Davis could finish his next sentence, the pen flew from her hand and landed in his neck. Right into his carotid artery. He dropped to the floor, hands scrambling at his neck as he looked to the girl he'd grown to love as a daughter for help. Athena stood over him, no emotion on her face as she watched the life drain from his eyes. The second his heart stopped beating, Athena set off. She grabbed everything she cared about and shoved it into a bag before making her way through the bunker. Her hands trailed the walls, setting everything on fire as she passed. She continued through the entire bunker until it was all set ablaze and then she climbed out the exit. Except it wasn't freedom waiting on the other side of the door. Instead, it was just soldiers. Each and every one of them sporting the Hydra logo on their arms. Athena barely had time to react before she was whacked unconscious. She awoke strapped to a chair with a helmet on her head. Athena didn't get to ask any questions before an electrical charge was sent through her body. Davis was erased. Her birth parents were erased. Everything she loved was erased. All that was left was the skills she had learned and one simple sentence; Follow the orders of your handler.
